Slovenia has to offer some
of the most challenging orienteering terrains. Beside the ones you will be running
on at OrienteeringOnline.cup, there are also some mapped terrains, that just have
to be tried! Provided you're an O-freak, of course :)! The biggest characteristic
of Slovenian karst terrains are numerous intricate depressions, and rocks that
make running pretty tough and maps very detailed. However, karst is not all we
can offer, there are also plenty of continental terrains worth trying, although
in some of those the runability gets pretty low in summer, due to dense fern vegetation.
